The artist Rok Zelenko comes from the artistic Zelenko family and works as a painter, ceramicist, and graphic artist.
After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, his home became Grožnjan, a small town in Istria where people still live in direct contact with nature and is the source of his inspirations.
His works reflect the diversity of the Istrian landscape, its softness and color. He also adds to the characteristically calm Istrian ambience with the narration of figures and records historical and ethnographic events with his paintings.
He is excited by the colorfulness with which he builds his paintings and breathes life into them.
His line-colored style is expressed in ceramics, where fantasy characters are mainly depicted. These are also characteristic of his unique ceramic brooches.
