Ciril Hočevar is an interesting personality, as he studied construction and fine arts at the same time and completed both higher education studies.
Although it almost seemed that he would be tempted by the security of permanent employment, in the end, the desire to express himself as an artist “won out”.
One might have expected that as a builder, the artist would have turned to modern sculpture, but he is primarily focused on the female figure.
His favorite motifs are forest fairies and female nudes.
