Guillermo Forchino is a world-renowned sculptor, originally from Argentina. After graduating from the School of Fine Arts in Rosario, Argentina, he continued his education at the Sorbonne in Paris – majoring in restoration and conservation. After finishing his studies, he returned to Argentina, where he worked for the restoration center of the Museum of Fine Arts in Rosario. During this time, he also started making figures, where he summarizes characters and situations from comic strips and cartoons. These are unusual and comic figures and situations such as going on vacation, playing golf, a chef, a doctor, a lawyer, a businessman, a wedding, a nurse, a covered car with a flat tire. The characters of his heroes always express humor and have soul. When he had already become famous with his figures, he returned to Paris, where today he creates his heroes who are popular all over the world.
