The Slovak-born academic painter Pavol Tesar traveled a lot around Europe and chose Slovenia as his home.
He has had several solo and group exhibitions, including one at the SKRINA Ethnogalerie, where he exhibited Ljubljana’s motifs.
He is also attracted by historical motifs and, above all, by the beauty and richness of unspoiled nature.
His paintings bring scenes of seagulls, poppy fields, olive trees, and cityscapes into our homes.
The artist’s brightly colored landscapes are full of sunshine and optimism and, like his historical paintings, are immediately recognizable.
