The industrialist was fond of Japanese art, so Klimt decided to draw a suitable picture that would complement the overall design. The painting consists of three elements – Expectation, Fulfillment and the central motif – a stylized Tree of Life. The name carries a symbolic meaning and encourages the viewer to think: maybe the artist tried to depict the biblical tree of knowledge, maybe he had infinity in mind, as the branches meet and intertwine, creating a veritable labyrinth of leaves. The picture can also be viewed symbolically as a new beginning, positive energy, health and a bright future. Features: Title of work: The Tree of Life Technique: Artistic reproduction Outer dimension: 25 x 30 cm; 16 x 29 cm Limited edition Elegant, timeless design An ideal gift for Klimt and classics lovers
</oembed>
