The artist Željko Vujec dedicated his life to ceramics. Using a unique technique, he applies the motifs of Ljubljana to it, especially its most picturesque areas, such as Tromostovje, the colorful market, the Dragon Bridge and the Ljubljana Castle. He has a keen sense of space and creates his images as he experiences them. In this way, he conveys to us the charm of the atmosphere at the moment of creation. That’s why his depictions of the old city center make us feel as if we’ve been there before. It proves to us that it is possible to process the same motif in a different way, in its own way and with a different artistic language.
