The working costumes were cut from very cheap fabrics, while on Sundays and holidays, the inhabitants of Ljubljana liked to wear clothes cut from better and more expensive fabrics. In the vast majority, <strong><em>women<\/em><\/strong> wore headdresses named <em>\u00bbpe\u010da\u00ab<\/em>. The simpler \u00bbpe\u010da\u00ab was made of white cotton and only hemmed, but more sophisticated ones were made of batiste, muslin, or chiffon and trimmed with lace. Dresses of different colors (blue, green, purple, red, and grey) were covered with a black apron that reached just above the dress and was finished with black cotton or lace. Some girls also wore <em>\u00bbsklepanec\u00ab<\/em> \u00a0and a necklace.<br \/>\n<strong><em>Men <\/em><\/strong>wore dark trousers and a waistcoat made of homemade linen on working days, and for holidays they wore an industrial cloth jacket and a black felt hat.
