The skirts of women's national costumes were of different colors; green with red ribbon, blue with pink, brown with black, and white underskirt \u00bbuntara\u00ab. Regardless of the color of the skirt, however, the apron was almost always blue. The costume also consisted of white socks gathered at the ankle. It was desirable that they were as puckered as possible - it was believed that the more puckered the stockings, the wealthier the girl. Black shoes were often decorated with a buckle. On working days, men wore dark trousers made of woolen cloth and a waistcoat made of native linen. For days off, they put on a jacket over the vest made of industrial fabric and put on a hat. An alternative to knee-high boots was \"half boots\" that reached the ankles.
