I am lucky to live in a small village in Bela krajina and to be able to work with natural materials, such as clay, wool and flax which are typical for this environment”, says a formally trained designer Silva Dravšnik, who decided to live in the countryside, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. After being shaped, painted and fired, separate elements which are all equally important are put on a string and made into a unique, ceramic, bell-shaped “Silvica”. Sometimes, an attractive boy named “Silvo” enters her life, together with animals, which are indispensible companions of the idyllic world of Silva Dravšnik.
